• The examination takes approximately 30 minutes. Generally, a referral from a general practitioner is not required.
• During the examination, I will need to ask about all the illnesses the diver is currently being treated for or has been treated for in the past. I will perform a clinical examination, ECG, measure height and weight, test vision for distance and near reading, conduct a basic hearing test, and a urine test. Other tests, such as spirometry, are only required under justified circumstances.
• It is not necessary to come to the examination on an empty stomach, and blood tests are not performed.
• The assessment of medical fitness follows the Recommendations for Assessing the Health of Sports Divers issued by the Czech Society for Hyperbaric and Aviation Medicine. This document is issued only in the Czech language.
• I will confirm the completion of the examination in your dive log or issue a medical report of the examination. No additional fees or paid tests are required.
